March 2024: Tonganoxie Elementary School hosts its annual PTC Boosterthon fundraiser & Fun Run! Our last round of Summer Snaps is here! 1. Six of Tonganoxie Elementary School's eight kindergarten teachers attended Teachers Night at the K! They shared lots of laughs and enjoyed watching the Kansas City Royals conquer the Chicago White Sox! Pictured are Kelcie Spencer, Nicole Streeter, Tara Tinberg, Madelyn DeKeyser, Paula Lamb, and Rachel Reynolds. 2-4. Tonganoxie students Xavier and Norah took a family vacation to Universal Orlando! They enjoyed five days of sun and fun with their grandparents and cousins, including fellow Tongie students Zayleigh and Zaryan. 5-7. TES Building Leadership Team members participated in an Amazing Race-style team-building exercise centered around three challenges: Help the T, Spill the T, and Spell the T! 8-9. Tonganoxie Middle School principal Kasi Brown and her husband had the opportunity to travel to Portugal and Morocco! They enjoyed sightseeing, trying new foods, and visiting new places. 10. Summer Snaps Round 5! 😎🌞 1-2. Soon-to-be Tonganoxie Elementary School fourth grader Jamari Perry living the “Island Life” in Hawaii while visiting his papa! 3. Rising Tonganoxie Middle School seventh grader Jacob Hickey has been spending part of his summer volunteering at JFS of Greater Kansas City to help ensure community members have access to fresh produce and community resources! 4-6. Kaden & Braxton Palmer went to Hawaii with family at the end of May! The boys explored several beautiful Hawaiian islands & enjoyed visiting Pearl Harbor National Memorial, playing in the ocean with Diamond Head in the background, & going on a catamaran to see the Napali coastline. 7-9. District accounts payable clerk Kelly Griffiths & her family, including TES fourth grader Rowyn & TMS seventh grader Kade, went on an eight day road trip, stopping along the way at Monument Rocks in Oakley, Kansas, Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve in Colorado, Eagle Nest Lake in New Mexico, and Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Texas. 10. Willow, TES nurse aide Nicole Martin’s first grandbaby, was born on July 2!
