Yesterday the Success Center had the opportunity to tour KCKCC Tech. THS is allied with both KCKCC and Washburn's technical education campuses. Students have an opportunity to gain some post-secondary training prior to graduation on the school's dime. It is a great way for kids to get a jumpstart on their careers!

The FCCLA Officer Team attended District Kick Off to work on this year's plans, goals, and activities. The district officers led the event, with Kalea Baldock, Lila Carlton, and Josie Roe all hosting Red Talks and team building for district members. FCCLA members have been working to collect items to make 40 bags to support those in need at The Lawrence Community Shelter. In addition to hygiene and clothing items, each bag also contains a positive and encouraging message written by FCCLA members.
