The District Leadership Team met with Kansas State Department of Education representative Jean Rush for the district’s six-month KESA visit. The purpose of this visit was to review the district’s accreditation action plan, report on progress toward six-month goals, and prepare for KESA Accreditation Day in February. Every time bank patrons swipe their Chieftain debit cards and skip the PIN, First State donates five cents to support our students. That’s 541,564 swipes! First State has donated more than $243,000 to USD 464 over the course of the Chieftain debit card program. They also donated sixty cases of water to keep our Tongie Tailgate attendees well-hydrated.
