Due to the forecast, the KSHSAA, in conjunction with Wamego High School, has announced slight changes to the race schedule at the State Cross Country Meet tomorrow. 4A Girls will run at 11:00 am & 4A Boys will run at 12:30 pm; girls awards at 1:10 pm & boys awards at 1:25 pm.

FCCLA members attended the District Leadership Fall Conference this month! District president Huston Albert, along with Tongie alum Emilie Crowley, hosted a break out session on running for office. District VP Kyndal Romero used the national program of FACTS to demonstrate the effects of being drowsy & impaired with hands-on activities. Students took the pledge to drive sober. State Peer Education Team members Aubrey Padfield and Harlee Morando focused their workshop on making healthy choices. Students in Profe McQueen's Spanish 1 classes are participating in a music video unit this week -- "Encerrada en la escuela" ("Locked in the School"). Students viewed screenshots from the video and made predictions by matching the images to possible captions written in Spanish.
