Tonganoxie USD 464 will be closed on Friday, January 10, 2025. Continued inclement weather has made it unsafe to transport students to school. All district schools and buildings are closed. Per our inclement weather policies, all morning practices are cancelled. Decisions regarding afternoon practices will be made by noon and communicated by coaches accordingly. Please be safe and stay warm. ☃️☃️☃️ #tongienation #usd464

Because of frigid temperatures and the number of county roads that are still impassable due to snow and ice, school for Wednesday, January 8 is cancelled. All district schools & buildings will be closed. We understand that school closings can be challenging for families, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We look forward to welcoming our students back to school as soon as it is safe to do so. #tongienation #usd464

On November 27, the THS Drumline led the Welcome Parade for St. Nicholas himself at Topeka's West Ridge Mall! The drumline also stopped at Supersonic Music, where owner and drum-maker Derek Sharp gave members a tour of the “Drumgeon”, where TreeHouse Drums are crafted by hand. THS has a jazz band and pep band drum kit from them, as well as a set of concert toms. 🎅🥁🪘 #YeahBand #tongienation #usd464

Chieftain Friends & Fun Day was another huge success! This is the second year THS has hosted this event. Eight high schools and two 18-21 year old programs attended. Athletes signed up for events based on their skill levels and moved around the gym and common space with peers or THS student volunteers. This special day started last year as senior Aubrey Padfield's FCCLA project and was an integral part of THS working towards becoming a Champion School with Unified PE. Special thank you to Makayla O'Donnell and the Connor Olson Foundation for help with the awesome t-shirts provided to athletes and peers! #tongienation #usd464
