Tonganoxie USD 464 will be closed on Friday, January 10, 2025. Continued inclement weather has made it unsafe to transport students to school. All district schools and buildings are closed. Because of frigid temperatures and the number of county roads that are still impassable due to snow and ice, school for Wednesday, January 8 is cancelled. Mrs. Tinberg's, Mrs. Streeter's, Mrs. Reynold's and Mrs. DeKeyser's students enjoyed looking through a traveling tote from the Kansas Historical Society in Topeka! The tote contained items that Native Americans from Kansas used to build their homes, as well as pictures, tools, & model homes! This was such a unique, hands-on learning experience and a fun way to enhance and wrap up their unit about Native Americans! #tongienation #usd464 #kansashistoricalsociety
