As kindergarten continues to learn about plants, last week students listened to a tall tale about Johnny Appleseed. Mrs. Sparks' class learned about tall tales and their main ideas. Students also cut open apples to inspect and discuss their parts, which they compared and contrasted to that of a pumpkin, which they learned about previously. Last but not least, they were able to enjoy a healthy snack! Yum! #tongienation #usd464
