🎉🏈 Mrs. Missy’s class is getting football ready! 🏈🎉 Today we kicked off Super Bowl Sunday celebrations with our own version of football fries! 🍟✨ The kiddos loved tossing, stacking, and decorating their “plays” before enjoying their tasty creations — all while learning about teamwork and excitement for the big game!
Mrs. Brice's Kindergarten class had fun celebrating the 100th day of school! From making fruit loop necklaces with 100 fruit loops, to cup stacking with 100 cups, a fun day was had by all.

5th graders conducted an experiment to investigate the question: What separates Earth from space? Using cups of water, milk, and a flashlight, students explored how Earth’s atmosphere is made of gas particles that scatter sunlight—making the sky appear blue—while outer space is a vacuum that appears black. Students connected this experiment to prior learning and wondered why gas particles don’t spread into space—leading to great discussions about gravity and Earth’s atmosphere! 🧪✨

Aspen Carr, 4th grade teacher at TES, uses a strategy to get her students talking about the content she is teaching. Students are using the "SuHuPu" (stand up, hand up, pair up) Kagan Cooperative Learning strategy to discuss their learning.
Frigid temperatures meant inside recess, but our 4th graders still brought the energy! ❄️🏀 Classes cheered on the Tongie boys basketball team as they took on Wichita North—loving every minute of supporting them from afar!
