Tonganoxie USD 464 is proud to announce that we have officially earned full accreditation from the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE), reaffirming our district’s commitment to student learning, continuous improvement, and excellence in education.
This accreditation is the result of a rigorous process through the Kansas Education Systems Accreditation (KESA) framework, which supports districts in strengthening areas such as student success, academic growth, school culture, leadership, and community engagement.
Throughout the process, USD 464’s Accreditation Team—comprised of district leaders and building principals—partnered closely with KSDE representatives to design and carry out an action plan, monitor progress toward established goals, and demonstrate growth across all grade levels. Their efforts culminated in the official announcement of full accreditation.
“This is more than just a box to be checked or a stamp of approval,” said Brandy Taylor, Director of School Improvement Services. “It shows that our schools are providing students with the skills, knowledge, and support they need to succeed now and in the future.”
As we look ahead to the next accreditation cycle, USD 464 remains committed to continuous growth and to inspiring and empowering every student to excel.
