Congratulations to Kelly Hoopes, assistant principal at Tonganoxie High School, on being named the Area 1 Nominee for the Kansas Secondary Assistant Principal of the Year by the Kansas Principals Association! Candidates were nominated by their school communities, selected by a committee of their peers, and evaluated based on their school leadership, school improvement, dedication, professionalism, and service to students. All area finalists will advance for consideration at the state level and be honored at an event later this fall.
