Educators from across the region have gathered in Lawrence this week for the highly anticipated Intensive Instructional Coaching Institute. This five-day in-person conference focuses on empowering both new and seasoned instructional coaches. Our very own Calesta Blazo (TES Lead Principal), Brandy Taylor (Director of School Improvement Services), and instructional coaches Amanda Albert and Kris Styes are in attendance for this transformative week of learning.

The Intensive Instructional Coaching Institute provides a unique opportunity to explore instructional coaching, delving deep into the strategies and techniques outlined in expert Jim Knight's books and research. Participants are exploring topics such as partnership principles, communication strategies, and data-driven decision-making. These areas are essential for instructional coaches looking to make a meaningful impact in their schools and districts.

The Intensive Instructional Coaching Institute is not only about acquiring knowledge but also about nurturing a passion for education and professional growth. Its format fosters networking and knowledge sharing, creating a vibrant community of educators dedicated to enhancing instructional coaching practices. Attendees are engaging in interactive workshops, collaborating with peers, and gaining valuable insights from experts in the field.  Our team is poised to return equipped with fresh insights, renewed enthusiasm, and a shared commitment to improving education through effective instructional coaching!
