As soon as the school bell rang for summer dismissal, TJ Schmid headed to Fort Worth, Texas, to caddie for a day at the FCA Golf GAMEDAY Event during the PGA’s Charles Schwab Challenge at The Colonial on May 23rd. TJ was paired up with Aaron Baddeley and his caddie, where he learned strategy and pointers throughout the day. His favorite moment was range finding the next shot for Mr. Baddeley. TJ has been a member of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) since seventh grade, when he joined as a cross country runner. He started playing golf his freshman year of high school and played for the Tonganoxie High School JV Golf Team his freshman and sophomore years. Currently, TJ is in a junior league at Eagle Bend Golf Course in Lawrence, Kansas. He enjoys playing local golf courses with friends and hitting a bucket of balls at the driving range. ⛳
