Mrs. Crowley's sixth grade students won first place in the Heartland Utilities for Energy Efficiency public service announcement contest! Students researched alternative energy sources and how to conserve energy in order to create a video to inspire people to be energy-efficient. Thanks to their efforts, Tonganoxie Middle School will receive a $3,000 grant to improve the energy-efficiency in our district. Students will now work on a proposal for how the funds can be used.
