2023 Regional Solo and Small Ensemble Music Festival Results
Congratulations to the band and vocal music students of Tonganoxie High School for their outstanding performances at the KSHSAA Regional Solo and Small Ensemble Music Festival held on April 15th, 2023, at DeSoto High School.
Soloists and ensembles earning a 1 rating will compete at KSHSAA 4A State Solo and Small Ensemble Festival in Andover on April 29, 2023. Tonganoxie High School qualified 23 students in 15 events for the State Solos and Small Ensemble Music Festival.
The band is directed by Charles Van Middlesworth and assisted by Stacy Crook-Collinge. The accompanist is Denise Bixby. The choir is directed by Tom Gifford and Carolyn Day is the accompanist.
