Mrs. Ketchum's seventh grade science class worked on a microscope lab this week! With their lab partners, students observed pond water, lichen, & a variety of other specimens. Many were very excited when they spotted microorganisms in the pond water! 🔬🔬 #tongienation #usd464

Sixth grade art students learned 10 watercolor techniques to incorporate into their landscape paintings. Mrs. Donahey demonstrated the technique and students tried them on technique cards. The techniques included salt, rubbing alcohol, blown lines, double loaded, dry brush, plastic, paper towel, bleed, and crayon. 🎨🎨🎨 #tongienation #usd464

Mrs. Donahey's art classes played "The Price is Right: Art Supplies Edition" on the first day of school! Students teamed up to guess the prices of various art supplies in the art room, all while trying not to exceed the actual cost.
