Next week is National School Breakfast Week! Monday through Wednesday, student nutrition staff will give out free snacks to 30 lucky students at each school that eat breakfast. On Thursday, each student that eats breakfast will receive a prize, and one student at each school will receive a grand prize!

In the Warrior Time Club spotlight today is the Mindfulness Club, sponsored by Ms. Ketchum and Ms. Swallow! This morning, students colored while a relaxing montage of ocean life played in the background. According to the Mayo Clinic, "Coloring utilizes areas of the brain that enhance focus and concentration and nurture attention. Mindful coloring is a purposeful act of paying attention to what we are doing in the present moment, rather than being on autopilot."
