In celebration of Read Across America, Mrs. Sparks' class read a variety of books this week from various authors, including Dr. Seuss. Yesterday they made green eggs & ham! Started in 1998 by the National Education Association, Read Across America is the nation’s largest celebration of reading.

Next week is National School Breakfast Week! Monday through Wednesday, student nutrition staff will give out free snacks to 30 lucky students at each school that eat breakfast. On Thursday, each student that eats breakfast will receive a prize, and one student at each school will receive a grand prize!

Last week, Miss Albert’s kindergarten class played Valentine bingo, practiced their numbers and snacked on some heart-shaped candy!
Although in-person Scholastic Book Fair shopping for parents has been cancelled, students will still have an opportunity to purchase books!
There are two options:
1) Parents can set up an eWallet and add money to it (at the book fair website below) for their child. This allows students to purchase books in-person without using cash.
2) Parents can order online!

Your child(ren) should have their wish list that they filled out after visiting the book fair and picking out their favorite items!
