Earlier this month, TES conducted a Lockdown drill in conjunction with the Tonganoxie Police Department. Holding drills is a proactive way we can enhance the safety and security of our students and staff and make sure that our school community is well-prepared to address any potential threats that may arise. All crisis drills follow the guidelines of the Standard Response Protocol, which outlines best practices for responding to emergency situations. We are grateful for our partnership with the Tonganoxie Police Department and their commitment to helping us keep TES safe! #tongienation #usd464

Kindergarten finished up their CKLA unit on colonial towns and townspeople. They learned all about various tradespeople. As a culminating activity, Mrs. Sparks’ students created paper plushies. Students chose a design and colored it, sewed it together using yarn, and filled it with stuffing. They were so proud of their finished products! #tongienation #usd464
