All students living within district boundaries and whose home address is 2.5 miles or more from the school they attend receive free bus transportation. Students living within our Pay to Ride area may receive bus transportation if 1) the appropriate route has space on the bus, and 2) Pay to Ride fees are paid in advance. If you are unsure as to whether you live within the Pay to Ride area, please contact Jill Kietzmann at the District Administrative Center, 913-416-1400, or jkietzmann@tong464.org.

Unfortunately, there are certain residential areas where no transportation is offered. They are outlined on the Transportation Map.

To sign up for bus transportation, complete a transportation request form. Transportation requests must be completed by August 4, 2023, to guarantee transportation during the first week of school.

The Transportation Office is located in the District Administrative Center at 300 E. Highway 24/40. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
