Tonganoxie Middle School students are making a big impact!

Mrs. Waldeier’s class recently completed the Lead4Change Student Leadership Program, earning $13,000 in grants for their amazing service projects.  The Lead4Change Student Leadership Program is a free curriculum that empowers students to discover their unique gifts and create real impact in their schools and communities.

Innovation Station – The Stembassadors received a $10,000 grant to create hands-on STEM experiences that build confidence, creativity, and resilience. They plan to expand the program with year-round STEM events, creativity camps, and a Girls in Engineering initiative.

Happy Kits – The Smile Makers earned a $3,000 grant for their project bringing joy to kids at Children’s Mercy Hospital. They’ve created and donated 50 kits so far, with plans to make 100 kits twice a year, spreading comfort and smiles to children facing hospital stays.

These projects show how TMS students are using leadership and creativity to make a real difference in their community!
