The upperclassmen traveled to Rock Creek High School this weekend and came home with hardware. Laikyn Bennett and Anna Tochtrop went undefeated 5-0 to win the tournament. On their heels were Katelyn Bothwell and Makayla Smith, finishing second with a 4-1 record. Lucy Graveman and Eric Bieser took third place with a 3-2 record. Brooke Eis and Alexander Washington also finished 3-2. The team brought home the team sweepstakes ahead of Topeka Seaman and Gardner-Edgerton.
After Thanksgiving, the squad heads to Lawrence HS before hosting on December 10.
Meanwhile, novices were winning at Bishop Miege. Ella Pruitt and Rachel Harbour finished 4-1 and placed 4th in their division. Mary Graveman and John Golba earned a 3-2 record and finished 7th in their division. Also traveling were Landon Frisbee and Ethan Riley.
