The THS Cross Country program had a great showing at the KSHSAA 4A State Championship on Saturday, October 28th, at Wamego Country Club in Wamego, Kansas. The boys team took third place overall, with junior Solomon Carter leading the way, cruising to an all-time PR and ninth place individual finish.  The program also sent two individual qualifiers to state on the girls side. Junior Kara Johnson, who qualified this year in her first ever cross country season, medaled with an eleventh place finish. Senior Kinnley Hoffhines, qualifying as an individual for a third season, recorded her fastest time ever for the Wamego course.

Solomon Carter: 16:33 - all-time PR race - 9th place individual medalist
Jett Gilmore: all-time PR race
Parker Welsh: all-time PR race
Michael Bottary: all-time PR race
Piercen Eccles: -48 seconds from same course in September; 10 seconds off PR 
Huston Albert: -44 seconds from same course in September; 7 seconds off PR
Joseph Turner:  -75 seconds from same course in September; 13 seconds off PR

Girls Individual Runners
Kara Johnson: 20:17; 11th place individual medalist
Kinnley Hoffhines: 21:18; her fastest time ever for this course; 34th overall
