The THS forensics team finished the year with a strong ninth place finish at State Champs, where they competed against twenty-eight other schools. The team's seven semifinalists included Abby Vick, Serious Solo; Josey Bartlett and Taylor Brents, Duet; Gabriel Altenhofen, Informative; Graham Foley, Informative; Eric Bieser, Prose; and Cayden Hunter in Extemp. Cayden Hunter placed fourth in Informative finals.
At State Festival, the team forensics had nine performers. Earning ‘One Ratings’ were Addie Dean and Ella Pruitt in Informative, Tye Baldwin in Serious Solo, Kizer Morando in Extemp, and Joshua Duvall in Prose. Earning ‘Two Ratings’ were Faith Morgan in Serious Solo and Charlotte Absher & Heather Leeper in Informative. Gavin Garner earned a ‘Three Rating’ in Impromptu.
