I have always had a love for the Spanish language. I am so excited to spend my life sharing my passion and knowledge with young people here at Tonganoxie High School.
I grew up as a military child moving place to place. My father retired in Leavenworth where I went to Leavenworth High School. I graduated in 1998 and went to KU for my undergrad in Anthropology and Latin American History. I served a year and a half in the Dominican Republic as a missionary for my church. When I can back I attended Pittsburg State for my masters in education. I married in 2008 and I have 3 wonderful boys.
I taught in KCK for 6 years and then got the wonderful opportunity to come to Tonganoxie to teach. I have been teaching here for 5 years and I look forward to many more!
