As I begin my 3rd year as an assistant principal in the largest elementary school in Kansas, I continue to enjoy working with the students, staff, parents and community of TES.
This is my 21st year in education. As a teacher, I loved working with middle school students with special needs and have also enjoyed wearing several different “hats” as Special Education Coordinator, Student Services Coordinator and Director of Special Education for about 12 years. The "hat" I wear as an assistant principal at TES has truly been my best "fit" and the beginning of every school year has brought renewed excitement and challenges.
I have a Bachelor’s degree from Kansas Wesleyan University and graduate degrees from Pittsburg State University and the University of Kansas, Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
In my free time you will find me spending time with my dog, Sailor, reading, or traveling to a warm and sandy beach.
Please do not hesitate to call or stop by any time and I look forward to a fun and exciting school year!
